Mk. II Frag Grenade
The Mk. II was the standard hand grenade of US forces starting in 1918 and is still the most common grenade in post-breakup America. Early grenades were painted yellow, while later grenades were manufactured as olive drab; most early grenades were repainted.
The Mk. II has a heavy cast iron body that's scored to ease fragmentation, though the pattern is still unpredictable. The design has led to the grenades being nicknamed "pineapples".
